Are you eager to learn Spanish but struggling to retain the information? The key lies in finding dedicated time in your schedule to study vocabulary, phrases, and most importantly, practice speaking. Simply studying won't cut it – regular practice is essential for mastery. Make Spanish a central part of your daily life by immersing yourself in the language, listening frequently, and joining me on WhatsApp for daily speaking practice – completely free of charge! There's no better way to improve than by committing to daily practice and learning. Let's make Spanish fluency a reality together! I can relate greatly because I had to learn how to speak English on the fly, with no instructor, I had to just learn by trial and error. I remember that I used to read every billboard that was on the street. Though I pronounced it wrong, the more I practiced, someone along the way told me the correct version of the pronunciation. You may not have billboards all over the place to read, but here I have a file with Spanish signs that I took everytime I traveled somewhere. This is in my Google Photos account, so you are welcome to check it out and practice reading these signs.

It's empowering to navigate through public spaces and decipher signs in Spanish. While on an adventurous expedition with my students, we stumbled upon this sign at Punta Maria's Skate Park in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It serves as a poignant reminder that this beach is designated for public use, safeguarding it from corporate encroachment. Our time here, cleaning up the beach and contributing to its preservation, was deeply rewarding. Surprisingly, many locals are unaware of this hidden gem nestled amidst towering condos and hotels—a natural preserve and skate park open to the public. Our students diligently worked to restore the park and shoreline. A heartfelt thanks to the CRES organization and our gracious hosts, Gabriel and Javier, for granting us this opportunity.

Make it a goal today to start your journey and make it a habit to speak daily and listen to the Spanish language purposefully on a daily basis.
